By enrolling at Evolve Dance Collective, you agree to the following studio policies and procedures:

ENROLMENT & CLASS PLACEMENT

  • Enrolment is subject to class availability.
  • Class placements are based primarily on age, however experience, skill level and individual circumstances may also be considered.
  • Evolve Dance Collective reserves the right to recommend alternative class placements where appropriate to best support a student's development and success.
  • Competitive team pathways and private lessons may be subject to additional requirements and will be communicated separately.

FEES & PAYMENTS

  • Tuition fees are invoiced per term and are payable in advance.
  • Families may choose to pay their invoice in full or utilise approved weekly or fortnightly payment arrangements. All payment plans must remain in advance of attendance and not in arrears.
  • An Annual Studio Contribution Fee of $80 applies per family and will be included on the first invoice issued following enrolment.
  • This contribution assists with studio administration, equipment, music licensing, technology systems, student resources and studio operations throughout the year.

ATTENDANCE & MISSED CLASSES

  • Regular attendance is encouraged to support student progress and confidence.
  • If a student is unable to attend class, families are asked to notify the studio where possible.
  • Missed classes are not refundable and cannot be credited or transferred.
  • As class programs continue regardless of individual attendance, fees remain payable for all enrolled classes.

PARENT OBSERVATION

  • To encourage student independence, concentration and strong teacher-student relationships, parents and caregivers do not participate in or observe regular classes.
  • Families are welcome to wait in designated waiting areas during class times.
  • Throughout the year, designated viewing opportunities and special events will be scheduled to allow families to observe student progress. These occasions will be communicated in advance.
  • For younger students and those requiring additional support, individual settling arrangements may be discussed with families as needed.

HEALTH, SAFETY & MEDICAL INFORMATION

  • Families are responsible for informing the studio of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, disabilities or additional support needs that may impact participation.
  • Evolve Dance Collective is committed to working collaboratively with families to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Students should not attend classes when unwell.

COMMUNICATION

  • Email is the primary method of communication for studio information, invoices, events and important updates.
  • Families are responsible for ensuring contact details remain current and for regularly checking communications sent by the studio.

TRIAL CLASSES

  • Families are welcome to trial classes before committing to enrolment.
  • The first trial class in each style is offered free of charge.
  • Should a student wish to continue attending classes before formally enrolling, casual class rates will apply and must be paid in advance.
  • Participation in trial classes does not guarantee a place in a class if it reaches capacity.

ENROLMENT GUARANTEE DEPOSIT

  • Due to limited class sizes, enrolments cannot be confirmed and places cannot be held without payment of either:
    A) the Annual Studio Contribution Fee of $80 per family OR
    B)  an Enrolment Guarantee Deposit of $50 per family
  • If a family chooses to pay the Studio Contribution Fee upfront, then no Enrolment Guarantee Deposit is required.
  • The Enrolment Guarantee Deposit osecures a student's place within their allocated classes and will be fully credited towards their first invoice.
  • Once a place has been allocated and confirmed, the Enrolment Guarantee Deposit is non-refundable.

WITHDRAWAL FROM CLASSES

  • Should a family wish to withdraw from classes, notification must be provided in writing via email.
  • Fees remain payable until written notice of withdrawal has been received.
  • Refunds or credits will not be provided for classes attended or missed prior to notification being received.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

  • All students are expected to:
    • Treat teachers, staff and fellow students with kindness and respect.
    • Follow teacher instructions.
    • Respect studio facilities and equipment.
    • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Bullying, inappropriate behaviour or actions that compromise the safety and wellbeing of others will not be tolerated.

PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Photographs and videos may be taken during classes, performances, examinations, events and studio activities for promotional and communication purposes.
  • Families will be provided with the opportunity to grant or decline media permission during enrolment.
  • Students without media permission will never be intentionally identified or featured in promotional materials.
